We begin with a complimentary consultation to discuss your concerns, examine your teeth, and determine whether clear aligners are suitable for you. We'll take photographs and, if appropriate, digital scans to support your assessment.
Digital Treatment Planning
Using sophisticated digital software, we map out a precise movement plan for your teeth and create a virtual simulation of your expected results. You'll be able to see your projected outcome before committing to treatment.
Your Aligners Are Made
Your custom aligners are manufactured using your precise digital scans. Each set is worn for approximately one to two weeks before moving on to the next in the series, gradually guiding your teeth into their new positions.
Progress Reviews & Completion
We'll see you for regular progress appointments throughout your treatment to ensure everything is on track. Once your teeth have reached their final position, we'll provide a retainer to keep them in place long-term.

Absolutely not. There is no upper age limit for orthodontic treatment. As long as your teeth and gums are healthy, clear aligners can work for you. A significant and growing proportion of our orthodontic patients are adults — many of whom have wanted straighter teeth for years and are finally taking the step.

Treatment length varies depending on the complexity of your case. Minor corrections may be completed in as little as 6 months, while more involved cases can take 12–24 months. We'll give you a clear timeframe estimate after your initial assessment.

Clear aligners are effective for a wide range of alignment concerns — including crowding, spacing, overbites, and underbites. Very complex cases may still require fixed appliances, but the majority of adults and teenagers are suitable candidates. We'll assess your suitability at your free consultation.

For best results, aligners should be worn for 20–22 hours per day. They should be removed for eating, drinking anything other than water, and brushing your teeth. Consistent wear is the key to staying on track with your treatment timeline.

It's common to experience some mild pressure or discomfort when you switch to a new set of aligners, as your teeth begin to move. This usually settles within a day or two and is a normal sign that the treatment is working. Most patients find clear aligners significantly more comfortable than traditional braces.

Once your teeth have reached their final position, you'll need to wear a retainer to keep them in place. Without a retainer, teeth can gradually drift back over time. We'll provide a custom-fitted retainer and advise you on how long and how often to wear it.

Invisalign is the most established and clinically researched clear aligner system in the world, with a proven track record across millions of patients. It uses patented SmartTrack material and a sophisticated digital planning platform. Other clear aligner systems can also be effective, particularly for simpler cases, and may offer a more affordable alternative.
